This product enables the customers to meet emergency cash needs against security of Fixed Deposit Receipt (FDR) of BRAC Bank Limited (BBL) issued in the name of Probashi. The applicant can avail himself of the overdraft facility up to 90% of the value of the FDR. The beneficiary will receive the benefit of the OD against the FDR duly authorized/discharged in favor of BBL by the Probashi (the holder of the FDR). Fixed Deposit Receipt under IFFD can be accepted as security. Overdraft limit will be granted/sanctioned up to 90% of IFFD value less the amount of interest already paid in advance.
