Subject: Closure notification of your BRAC Bank account.
Dear Sir,
We regret to inform you that we have decided to close your account with our bank due to non-submission of the required document(s)/information which remained pending from the opening of your account within stipulated time. At the time of opening of the account, you could not provide the necessary documents/Information due to which post opening of the account we imposed withdrawal restriction and informed you through a SMS notification advising you to submit the document within 15 days for your account to be fully active. Since we have not received any further update from you, we have no choice but to close your account within 15 days from the date of this letter.
Alternatively, you can also take the necessary measures to close the account yourself within this period and request that our bank either transfer the funds to your nominated account at another bank or issue a Payment Order (PO) in your name. Please be informed that before closing your account, we will deduct any applicable levies or charges from your account. If you are unable to regularize the account on your own accord within the stipulated timeframe, we will close your account and issue a payment order. You can collect it from your nearest BRAC Bank branch with proper authorization. We look forward to your cooperation in this matter and request that you return the debit card and unused cheque leaves for this account, as they will no longer be usable. We regret any inconvenience.
