

1. Who is eligible for the campaign?
Any new customer who opens a TARA account digitally (through the eKYC platform) or applies for a new credit card within March 2026 and April 2026 (subject to the specific offer criteria listed below).
2. What is the debit card reward offer?
If a customer opens an account in March 2026 and spends BDT 5,000 with their debit card during the campaign period, they will receive 1,000 reward points.
3. By when do customers need to complete the debit card spending?
The customer must complete the BDT 5,000 debit card spending by the end of April 2026. Transactions after April 2026 will not count.
4. What is the Aarong gift voucher offer?
If a customer opens a TARA account in March 2026 or April 2026 and keeps an initial deposit of BDT 1,00,000 or higher, they will receive a BDT 1,000 Aarong gift voucher.
5. Does the customer need to maintain the BDT 1,00,000 balance?
Yes. The balance must be maintained till April 2026.
6. What if the customer deposits the amount in multiple transactions?
The offer applies only to deposits of BDT 1,00,000 or more. Multiple smaller deposits totaling 1,00,000 do not qualify.
7. What is the credit card annual fee waiver offer?
For new credit cards issued in March 2026 or April 2026:
Within the first 3 months of card issuance, the customer will receive a first-year annual fee waiver.
8. Does the spending need to be in one month?
No. Customers have 3 months from the date of card issuance to complete the spending requirement.
9. Which transactions qualify for campaign spending?
Only POS, e-Com or QR scan made through the card. Cash withdrawals, fund transfers, wallet loading, or any non-retail transactions do not qualify.
10. When will customers receive their reward points or gift vouchers?
Rewards will be delivered within 30 working days after the campaign ends in April 2026, subject to verification.
11. Can a customer receive all three benefits?
Yes, if the customer opens a TARA account in March 2026 or April 2026, completes the debit card spending, maintains the eligible initial deposit, issues a new credit card and completes the card spending requirement.
12. What happens if a customer closes the account early?
The bank reserves the right to cancel or reverse the reward if the account is closed within the first 90 days.
13. Is this campaign available through all branches and online onboarding?
Yes. The offers are available through all branches and digital onboarding channels upon successful account opening or card issuance.
14. Can existing customers participate?
Existing customers can qualify only for the credit card offer if they apply for a new card. The debit card and Aarong voucher offers apply exclusively to new account holders.
