Daffodil International University (DIU) is emerging as a pioneering institution in Bangladesh, striving to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among its students and Alumni. Founded on innovation, creativity, and excellence principles, DIU aims to cultivate a culture of entrepreneurship that transcends traditional academic boundaries.
What sets DIU apart is its proactive approach to integrating entrepreneurship. It established the country's first Department of Innovation & Entrepreneurship to create entrepreneurs. DIU also created an entrepreneurial ecosystem to support the aspiring young minds of Bangladesh to become entrepreneurs. DIU collaborates with industry partners, government agencies, and international organizations to create entrepreneurial opportunities for its students and graduates.
The Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship was established in 2015 with the vision of creating a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem in the country driven by the innovation and creativity of local entrepreneurs. It also aims to provide students with a platform to develop relevant entrepreneurial skills through practical learning and project work, thus fostering the growth of new businesses through continuous support.
