Account Holder information update

BRAC Bank Account holder information can be easily updated through the following methods:

• To update NID through ASTHA App (https://tinyurl.com/Athshba), please follow the steps:

• Log in to the BRAC Bank Astha App
• Select the “Sheba” icon on the dashboard
• Select ‘Account’ from ‘Service Request Type’
• Select ‘NID Update -17 digit’ or ‘NID Update -10/13 digit.’ 
• Type ‘NID Number’→ ‘Place of Issue’→ ‘NID Issue Date’→ ‘Country of Issue’
• Upload an image of ‘NID’ (front and back sides)
• Select ‘SMS’ Authorization Model
• Enter the OTP and click Submit

• To Update Passport through ASTHA App:

• Log in to the BRAC Bank Astha App
• Select the “Sheba” icon on the dashboard
• Select ‘Account’ from ‘Service Request 
• Select “Passport Number Update” from ‘Select Service Request’ 
• Type ’Passport Number’→ ‘Issuing Authority’→ ‘Issue Date’→ ‘Expiry Date’→ ‘Country of Issue’
• Upload image of ‘Passport’ (Page 1 and 2)
• Select ‘SMS’ Authorization Mode
• Enter the OTP and click Submit

• To update Date of Birth through ASTHA App:

• Log in to the BRAC Bank Astha App
• Select the “Sheba” icon on the dashboard
• Select ‘Account’ from ‘Service Request 
• Type ’Date of Birth’ → ‘NID Number’
• Upload an image of ‘NID’ (front and back sides)
• Select ‘SMS’ Authorization Mode
• Enter the OTP and click Submit

• To update through email:

• Send the NID copy (front and back) along with the Account details to enquiry@bracbank.com.
• Send a copy of the Birth Certificate along with the Account details to enquiry@bracbank.com.
• Send the Passport copy (Pages 1 and 2) along with the Account details to enquiry@bracbank.com.
• Send the Proof of Permanent Address/Home District along with account details to enquiry@bracbank.com.

• To update through a branch, please visit the nearest BRAC Bank branch with the required documents.
