From the earliest days of BRAC Bank, Nurun Nahar Begum has helped shape the technology that powers the bank today. Growing through the organisation as a homegrown leader, she has played a pivotal role in modernising banking systems, driving digital transformation and enabling faster, safer and more accessible banking for millions of customers. Today, as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), she leads the technology function at one of Bangladesh's leading banks while also standing as the country's first and only female CTO in the banking industry. Beyond technology, her leadership of TARA Forum, BRAC Bank's internal women's platform, has helped strengthen opportunities for women to grow and lead across the organisation.
