When you tap to pay at a store, it’s Google Pay doing the work, using the card information stored in your Google Wallet. In short: Wallet stores, Pay pays.

All BRAC Bank Mastercard credit and prepaid cards can be added to Google Wallet.

Use Google Wallet for tap-to-pay transactions at any NFC-enabled POS machine and online in Bangladesh or abroad.

Device Requirements
If Google Declines Your Card
Google may reject a card if your device seems unsafe — for example, if it’s rooted, outdated, or showing suspicious activity. This helps protect your financial data.
How to Pay in Stores
1. Unlock your phone.
Hold it near the POS terminal.
Wait for the confirmation sound or checkmark — and you’re done.
2. Based on different devices, you may need to open your Google Wallet App for transactions.
*No internet connection is needed to make a payment.
Adding and Managing Multiple Cards
You can add more than one BRAC Bank Mastercard credit card.
To remove a card, first set another default, then tap the three-dot menu → Remove payment method.
Security and Privacy
Your actual card number is never shared with merchants.
Google uses tokenization, replacing your real card number with a digital token for every payment.
Your phone’s PIN, fingerprint, or face lock ensures only you can approve transactions.
PIN and Transaction Limits
Bangladesh Bank regulations require entering your card PIN for NFC transactions above BDT 5,000.
Lost Phone or Card
If your phone is lost or stolen:
If your card is replaced, remove the old one from Wallet and add the new card.
Report Suspicious Activity
If you notice any unauthorized transaction or SMS alert:
The bank will restrict your card to prevent further use.
Rewards and Benefits
All your existing rewards, cashback, and benefits remain the same when paying through Google Wallet.
Fees
Using Google Wallet is free. Standard card fees and interest (if applicable) remain unchanged.
