Few careers
grow alongside an institution from its early years to retirement. Amina
Bashar's is one of them. Beginning her journey with BRAC Bank as a contractual
officer, she rose to become First Assistant Vice President while dedicating 13
years to the Bank's core payroll function, ensuring thousands of colleagues
received their salaries accurately and on time.
Her commitment was tested during one of the most difficult periods in the Bank's history. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, while coping with the personal loss of both her mother and her husband, she continued to fulfil one of the organisation's most critical responsibilities with unwavering professionalism. As BRAC Bank's first female employee to complete a full career with the Bank, her journey is a testament to loyalty, resilience and an enduring commitment to the people she served.
