Dear Sir/Madam,
We regret to inform you that the Bank has decided to close your account maintained with BRAC Bank PLC within thirty (30) days from the date of this notice. This decision has been taken following an internal review and monitoring, which revealed that your account has exhibited an insignificant level of transactional activity over a considerable period. Please note that this decision has been made in accordance with the Terms and Conditions agreed upon at the time of account opening.
You may, however, choose to close the account yourself within this period by requesting the Bank either to transfer the funds to your nominated bank account maintained with other bank(s) or, to issue a payment order. Kindly note that all applicable levies, service charges, or dues (if any) will be deducted from your account prior to closure. We also request you to return all the unused cheque leaves and debit card of this account to us before closing the account.
In the event you do not close the account within the stipulated timeframe, the Bank will proceed to close it and issue a Payment Order (PO) in your name if fund available. You may collect the PO from your nearest BRAC Bank Branch upon proper verification and authorization.
