Dear Sir/Madam,
We regret to inform you that the bank will close your account if no transactional activity is recorded within thirty (30) days of this notice. This decision is due to the insignificant transactional activity on your account over a considerable period. Please note that this decision is in accordance with the Terms and Conditions agreed at the time of account opening.
To keep your account active, please make regular transactions within 30 days of the date of this letter.
You may, however, choose to close the account yourself within this period by requesting the bank either to transfer the funds to your nominated bank account maintained with another bank(s) or to issue a payment order. Kindly note that all applicable levies, service charges, or dues (if any) will be deducted from your account before closure. Please return all unused cheque leaves and the debit card for this account to us before the account is closed.
If you choose not to close the account within the stipulated timeframe, the bank will proceed to close it and issue a Payment Order (PO) in your name. You can collect the PO from your nearest BRAC Bank branch after it has been verified and authorized.
