U.S. authorities have introduced a Visa Bond requirement for certain B1/B2 visa applicants from Bangladesh (along with other listed countries). Where instructed by the U.S. visa authority, the applicant must pay a US Treasury Bond of typically from USD 5,000 to USD 15,000 through the U.S. Government portal (Pay.gov) after the instruction/ conformation is received from Dhaka Embassy.
