TARA Homemakers Savings Account is particularly designed for homemakers (not in formal employment) and have limited monthly savings. Homemakers can open this account independently without providing any income-supporting documents. There is no need to rely on others to prove financial eligibility.

Monthly income cannot exceed BDT 2,00,000.

Initial deposit into the account cannot exceed BDT 5,00,000.

Total deposit into the account cannot exceed BDT 12,00,000 in any consecutive 6 months.

  • Half-Yearly Account Maintenance Fee is applicable as per Schedule of Charges.

  • TARA VISA Multicurrency Debit Card is available, and charge is applicable as per Schedule of Charges (TakaPay for Agent Banking)
  • Debit Card annual fee free for first year of issuance. It will remain free from second year with an average balance of BDT 10,000 or above.

Cask back for grocery purchase

Every month TARA customers will be given a maximum cash back amount of maximum BDT 500 (2% of total transaction) into their account per month for grocery shopping with TARA Debit Card.

Action for Crossing Deposit Limit

When the total deposit exceeds BDT 12,00,000 in 6 months, the account will be converted into a TARA Triple Benefit Savings Account, and the customer must provide supporting documents to the branch.
